Sneak Peek: October Deluxe Challenge!

Our next Deluxe Challenge starts this Tuesday, October 1st, and players who complete all 3 tasks will win
a Fairytale Loft Bed, along with some Knight’s Armor to help guard it!
Make sure you give yourself enough time to complete your Deluxe Challenge as some tasks may take
some time to complete. This month’s tasks:
~ Spin the Vacation Wheel 7 times
~ Earn 220 KinzCash playing Dex Dangerous and the Lunar Lugbotz at the Arcade
~ Attempt any 6 jobs at the Employment Office

I like these items. But not the best at Dex Dangerous. My husband says it's like an old game he used to play....are we thinking what I'm thinking? Oh sweetie......

I struggle with this game too. I do much better with mouse (well I can get like 25 points per game with a mouse) compared to a touchpad. I ignore the asteroids unless they are headed to my planet. If you do have to blast them, try to get the pieces that break off too.
Moving also seems to help - as you are less likely to be hit by ammunition if you are a moving target.
Sometimes it helps to just hold down the key to fire continuously (especially for the giant scary enemy ships on the mid levels- you can destroy them if you hit them enough times) but most of the time I simply hit targets one at a time as quickly as I can.
I do try to pick up as many of the special weapons as possible - the little symbols that sometimes appear after you blow something up.
Those are my suggestions. I try to be happy with any score above 20.

Thanks so much, Simply! I can usually hit scores in the 20s, so maybe that's the norm, rather than the exception! lol! Well, alrighty then, I"ll just play 11 times!  |

Well, answering your question seems to have helped me - I've been managing to get above 30 with the touchpad -mostly just by continuously holding the fire button down -

Now that sounds like me! rofl! No, seriously, I appreciate it because it confirms that I'm just doing what everyone else is doing and not missing a key component.  I appreciate your response, very much! Congrats on hitting above 30!! Woohoo! I don't have a touchpad, so its just a mouse for me and I'm comfortable with that. I did learn that on the level with the giant ships - start shooting right away, try to get rid of the big ones, as fast as possible. Then you're not overcome by 4 or 5 coming at you, all at once. Plus they shoot at your planet, so the sooner you kill them, the better! |
