Just joined and trying to find my way around because I am new to here, but I have been an active webkinz player since early 2008. I find that WW is having my own virtual doll house. Besides collecting webkinz, my main hobby is collecting teddy bears which I have been doing for many years now. I have two rooms just with stuffed teddy bears and figurines. I particularly like artist bears and good manufactured mohair bears such as Steiff bears but I have quite a few Boyds bears also. I used to love going to teddy bear shows but unfortunately there are not too many of those any more. I am also a member of a Red Hat chapter and love to dress in purple with a red hat. The queen of my chapter asked me if I wanted to be vice queen and I told her I would rather be queen of vice so that is what I am. We have a lot of fun and I have made many friends that way. But through WW I have gotten to know many people that I have never met in person but who I consider to be my good friend. I hope to make some more here.

We usually post a welcome for all new members, in case some are shy, and need a little encouragement. You're going to love the members here! They're sweet, kind, funny and maybe a little crazy some days! We have fun contests, chats and sometimes we have food fights. Though, I have to say its been a while, since the last one.  If you have any questions, at all, or need any help, just holler! We have 'tagging' here, which means if you put the @ symbol in front of a user's name, it will tag them and they'll get notification, so they can respond. It works everywhere except the shout box. |

I am so glad you joined! I love Teddy Bears- only a few but they are like old friends. I have one little Steiff, 2 R John Wrights and a Heidi Steiner- the Steiff is about 5" tall- the others are 13-16" tall. My son has 3 Build a Bears that are all dressed in Star Wars outfits!
