You can now decorate your pet’s rooms on the Webkinz Mobile App (available at the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store), but be forewarned, there are a few problems with this new feature!



First let me give you some of the highlights!



You can now edit any room through the App!







Use the HOUSE button to go to a room, and then tap the EDIT button to see your items! To add items to your room you simply drag items where you want them to go, and then tap the checkmark button to place it. To rotate an item, tap the same button you used to move. The remove button will send the item back to your Dock.



You can view your rooms and your map! You can also rename rooms and buy new rooms! Of course you can navigate the map as well!





New doors have been added to underwater rooms! Though these only show up on the App, I am hopeful we will see them on www.webkinz.com in the future!







Now for the downsides

One downside is the GIANT list of items that either do not work or are not showing up properly! You can find the list here, though it most likely isn't complete, if you find any items that don't work, comment there and they will add it to the extensive list!



Another downside is that only beds, chairs, tables, and bathtubs are interactive as they should be! Most other items are not, so Clocks, Riding items (e.g., vehicles, rides), In-containers (e.g., fridges and stoves), Buildable items, Cooking items (e.g., stoves, blenders, sandwich makers), Gardening items, In-room games, Fortune tellers, Swimming pools, TVs, Any other pop-up window items (e.g., telescopes, view screens, movie screen), and Webkinz Studio won't work as they do normally on www.webkinz.com.



Since coins and gift-boxes aren't used to decorate rooms, you will not be able to see those on the app.



Another downside is the fact that the room feature uses a lot of data- thankfully it warns you! If you use wifi, you have nothing to worry about with this aspect!
