Time to stock up on points!
There is even a new big package that comes with 3 pets.
Will you be buying points?

I was curious to see how much is saved by buying the larger amounts of points when they're on sale, so I went to work with my calculator.
Not even taking into account the value of the three free pets you get when buying the largest amount, here's what I found:
10,000 points for $9.99 - you pay $1.00 for every 1,000 points 20,000 points for $19.99 - you pay $1.00 for every 1,000 points
AT 30% OFF: 33,000 points cost $20.99 - you pay $0.64 for every 1,000 points 60,000 points cost $34.99 - you pay $0.58 for every 1,000 points 130,000 points cost $69.99 - you pay $0.54 for every 1,000 points 210,000 points cost $104.99 - you pay $0.50 for every 1,000 points
So . . . . when there's a 30% off sale, the points for a 10,000 points pet can cost you anywhere from $5 to $10, depending on how much you paid for the points.
If you buy points in small amounts at $1 for every 1,000 points, over time you'll pay $50 for 50,000 points. Compared to that, buying them at $0.50 for every 1,000 points saves you $25 for every 50,000 points.
Over time, buying 210,000 points in small amounts will add up to a cost of $210, compared to $105 for the same amount of points you get when buying the largest amount during a 30% off sale - not to mention the three free pets!
[2thumbup] The good news is, if you can't afford to spend that much at once, you can still save a lot by buying any of the lesser amounts that are included in the sale!

Wow, Misty Seas!! Thanks for doing this! That is awesome! I wish it only added up to that for me.
I'll pay an extra 30% for US funds and then another 5% for sales tax, so its not quite so good a deal. :nooo:
