Awwes. Room decorating and SPOTM is going to be a tad difficult for me haha. No pet actions, and now some items won't work.

I'm going to miss random dancing. And it may be challenging to decorate and trade. Hopefully, in the end, dealing with all the glitches will be worth it.

I have considered not even logging in tomorrow.
I think I've decided that I'm not even going to bother to log in tomorrow. And if I miss the rest of the week, too, oh well.

Does anyone else think it is odd that they are keeping this start date when they are not ready? It's like eating a steak that was not cooked long enough or buying a new car that isn't finished at the factory. :scared: :yikes:

I'm more than considering. In fact, I might take a couple of weeks off of Webkinz. Ugh.

I'm curious to experience it, but at the same time this latest news has me really frustrated. I almost wonder if they were going to launch it later in the month, but because word was getting around that it was going to be July 8th they've made it July 8th? Even if that is the case that doesn't seem like a smart move....

(Really not trying to be critical of them...some of their business sense really does make no sense.)

I don't consider it critical, I just consider that it would be common sense to not go live with an update before its ready!!...which is clearly what they're doing

I don't consider it critical, I just consider that it would be common sense to not go live with an update before its ready!!I agree. Common sense should go hand in hand with business sense. If you throw out a REAL product with tons of glitches, people will complain, return the product, whatever, and may possibly choose to move on. Just because this is a virtual world does not mean that business sense be thrown out the window. Good grief. I needed a break from Webkinz World anyway, after all that reorganizing of accounts. This is a good time to take it...

This is a good time to take it... Now would DEFINITELY be a good time to take it. From the sound of it there may be a good deal of extra downtime and/or additional updates. The next scheduled maintenance after this week is July 29th, three weeks. I feel like that should be enough time to get things at least more under control and ready than they will be tomorrow. Plus I'd *think* by that point the two item lists would be taken care of. I hope.

Webkinz X is a lot of change I understand that at first there will be glitches but I bet by the end of the summer everything will run great. I am not even going to look at the list for the missing items. Change is good after 10 years of Webkinz I think Webkinz need a big update like this. The main thing is that are pets and the items in are rooms look the same

y'all are complaining so hard about webkinz x omg
i think the reason theyre continuing with it being released tomorrow is because thats the date the promised users so like either way users are gonna get bad news, its either "almost finished" or "sorry, later date"
so obviously they were gonna get complaints either way
my dad works in and with businesses like this (not ganz tho) and ive helped out a few times + he likes to tell me about his days a work sometimes and lemme tell ya, the reactions you get when clients are told they have to wait, they flip out the reaction for being told "its not quiiite ready yet but its p good" is still pretty bad, but it isnt as bad
its kinda like handing in a school paper, the teacher wants it now, even if its not completed humans hate late things
which is why i think they decided to release i now, rather than later
