Virtual Donor Program
Hello Webkinz Town Members,
This thread contains the answers to your questions on the topic of donating virtual Webkinz World items to our own WTMagic Account.
Please read the following info about this process before donating items, so you know how to [the procedure] and what you can get from donating, besides that indescribable feeling of helping the site out, of course.
WHY WE ARE DOING THIS
You might ask why we are asking for donations. Well, we aren't asking for donations just for no reason at all.
We want to make sure that the prizes given out in our contests are going to please members, so we are asking for these donations to ensure that we have prizes that will put a smile on a winner's face.
All of the extra help that our members give is extremely appreciated, and ALL of the items that you send in WILL be used for something to better WebkinzTown and won't leave the WTMagic account unless a winner of an OFFICIAL contest is receiving that prize.
These prizes will not be given out for Member Contests, only Official Contests by the staff team.
If you have a further question on where the prizes are going or how they are going to be used, please PM an Administrator, Global Moderator or Contest Moderator.
HOW TO DONATE WEBKINZ WORLD ITEMS
We would love to have almost any type of donation,; exclusive items, psi, promo, deluxe gift box items, retired clothing or items, challenge or collection items, anything that we can use as prizes.
*Deluxe-only W-Shop and KinzStyle Outlet items are accepted, but items purchasable by all members are not needed.*
1. Add WTMagic to your WKW phone.
2. Contact an Administrator with your WKW ID and what items you are donating.
(We need to know what ID the items are coming from, so that we can go in and accept.)
3. Once we are friends, please send the items you listed in your PM or post to the WTMagic Account. (At least a full package for the badge [3 items])
4. Post back to notify us when you've sent.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
Upon donating WKW items, you will receive a shiny new badge for under your username!
This badge is called the "WT Contributor" badge and is shown below:
You will get to keep this badge forever, and it will not be removed from your bars widget. REMEMBER:
This badge is DIFFERENT from the actual money support badges [WT Supporter & Super Donor -- you can read about this process HERE]
Before July 2012, donating virtual items would get you this badge:
You can no longer earn this badge, but everyone who donated before July 2012 got to keep this badge forever.
Donating again got them the WT Contributor badge, and from now on when a member donates, they will not receive this badge, but the WT Contributor badge.
Also, if you are sending items to the WTMagic account, please make sure that the items you are giving up are not currently in the process of being traded,
on your Trading List or Wants, etc., to ensure that the item won't cause you trouble in the Trading areas.
Another good thing to make sure of is that you won't miss or regret sending your items.

The Market account is totally different but we do have a contest account that people donate to, to keep us stocked up on prizes. Thanks so much, for the interest.
