WEBKINZ WORLD IS TURNING 10!!!
Can you believe it has been 10 Years!!.
I thought it would be fun to post some of our favorite memories of Webkinz.
I will start with my first pet.
I opened an account so I could help my kids with KC.
That was May of 2008, they opened their accounts in December of 2007.
Here is BlackBeary
She is all dressed up for the festivities.
I bought this pet and named her after a Panda my Hubby bought me the first few years we were married.
I slept with that panda every night until it started to fall apart (about 15 years). It is now dressed in an old UofK outfit all my kids wore as babies.
(That bear was replaced by an almost 3 ft brown bear, he has been my cuddle buddy for almost another 15 years!!)

One of my favorite memories has been seeing how my Webkinz World family has evolved since 2008 (:
I remember the first rooms I created, being jealous of the design style of my friend, changing everything up. Creating wacky outfits,
having pet parties, playing with my plushies. Searching for rare items and watching as the map changed like eight times xD
I really wish I would have realized how important this game would become to me. I wish I would have participated in certain events, not
traded off very valuable items, collected much more, I wish I would have had an early start in forums. Etc. I wish I had my mentality of Webkinz
now, back then.
But yes, back to my point. I myself have changed quite a bit, as has my little family. Many pets, and in counting. It's quite nostalgic, all of this. (:

One of my favorite things to do is to wander through my kids houses to look at the rooms they created on their own and the ones we created together. To see items that we spent hours playing on the games, for KC, to win enough to get a treasured rare! To smile at how my youngest bought 10 of the same outfit, to dress all his pets alike, when they went on a camping trip.  To see the pets that they named on their own, when they couldn't quite spell the names correctly. It makes my heart warm to see these things. Just thinking of this reminds me that I should get screen shots of some of their special rooms.  We spent a lot of wonderful quality time together on Webkinz and I'm thankful for all the time that we had together, doing something that we loved so much. |

So what is your favorite WW memory?My favorite memory is when I discovered we had the ability to trade on WW (in the Clubhouse) ... that led me to finding forums and trading on there .. I have made so many friends on a few different forums (and found out that some of them are on all the ones I am, lol). I love to create scenes and rooms in WW and am glad we can all trade with each other to get those items we "need" to complete that perfect project. WW (and the WW Forums I belong to) are my social and creative outlet and I am thankful for them.

I got my first webkinz in.... June 2007. We went to the beach with my aunt uncle and cousins. My cousin was a major Webkinz addict and I decided to get one for me. While my dad, my 2 cousins, my uncle, and I went to see Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver surfer, my mom sister and aunt picked up my first kinz. I immediately fell in love with my Lilkinz Chihuahua Squirrel. Now 8 years later I have between 90 and 100 pets! One of my favorite memories was a month or two ago when I finally adopted my bordercollie Rose  |
