Design a 20 Year Webkinz Pet!

2025 is a BIG year for Webkinz! April 29, 2025 marks our 20th year! We are inviting our players to join in the the preparations for this amazing milestone by submitting your ideas for a 20 Year pet that will be created in Webkinz Classic AND in Webkinz Next! The contest runs from December 2 to 31, 2024. The winning pet will be awarded to players in Classic and Next on our 20th Webkinz Day, April 29, 2025!
This year’s pet design is a little different because we want to see pets with a 20 Year theme incorporated into the design! To offer you some inspiration, here is the winner of our 10 Year Pet Design Contest, the Decade Dragon by player 4accounts.
Pet submissions must fit into one of the following categories:
- four legged pets, like a dog or a cat
- knucklewalking pets, like an ape
- hopping pets, like a bunny or a frog
Bird and fish submissions will not be selected.
In addition to having their pet created in Webkinz, the winning designer will also receive 150 virtual Diamonds in Webkinz Next, 12,500 virtual eStore Points for use in Webkinz Classic and a virtual Webkinz Classic Pet Design Trophy.
All ten finalists will each receive two virtual Webkinz Next Best Of Mystery Capsule, and a virtual Webkinz Classic 2025 Winterfest Cookie 3-Pack.
Here’s how to enter:
Between December 2 and 31, 2024 design a four-legged, knuckle-walking or hopping pet that you think would make a great addition to Webkinz Classic & Next!
You can use any kind of art supplies that you want – markers, pencil crayons, crayons, or other art materials. While we will not accept images that have computer generated patterns or graphics copied and added to them, participants may use programs like Paint or Photoshop to color and draw freehand. We can’t accept submissions with company logos or sports team emblems. Please make sure you save your images as a jpg, gif, or png.
Please include suggestions for the pet’s PSI and PSF.
Submit your drawing to the 20 Year Pet Gallery in the Share Center by midnight EST December 31, 2024.
Then wait to see if your design is one of the 10 finalists.
Please note that while the Webkinz Next artists will use the winning design as inspiration for a new pet, the design may need to be adapted in order to work as a 3d pet.
