Hey everyone, I'm djcandy!
I've been on Webkinz since 2009 and after playing on and off for a while, I came back in full force in 2021 and I now play nearly everyday! I am up to 133 pets. Webkinz has always been fun for me, but lately it has been such a nice escape from some grief I've been dealing with and also grad school *shudders*. Back when I was younger and still playing on and off, I used to be a little embarrassed to say that I still played Webkinz, but now I see it as something relaxing and even healing for me and I've fully embraced it. Since recognizing that this was an important hobby of mine, I've been finding online communities to join—including the Webkinz subreddit and the Grown Up Webkinz Facebook group—and have gone out of my way to find more Webkinz (I ended up going to Cabin Creations in Ohio)! It's been so much fun.
I used to frequent WI a lot too. I had the same username as I have here, if anyone happens to recognize it. Since WI closed I've been missing having a Webkinz forum in my life, but that's why I'm so excited to have found WebkinzTown! It's nice to be here and to meet everyone! If anyone would like to add me, my user is sissytootoo (funny childhood nickname from when my dad made my account for me, LOL).
