hey friends!! i have two new and amazing adoptions to share with you!
i am welcoming Ace and Angelo to my webbie family (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
not sure if anyone will read all of this but these two pets were a journey!
As for Ace, I have been collecting the Mystical Panda pet medallions for about a year now, minus the few months i was inactive this past fall/winter. I put every pet medallion i got into this pet, aside from a couple (still working on Gargowl and Rainbow Googles). I took lots of pics of my progress because i was so excited!
and then... today... today was the magical day... ❀☆ i checked my eStore account and realized i had an anypet medallion giftbox. i did not realize this was exactly what i needed to adopt this pet! i must have gotten it in the span of time i was absent from the game, because i didn't even know about the gift box!
I have had Ace's room made for a long time now, you can view it in my room thread. It's a Pride-themed room based on the Ace flag, so I knew I needed the perfect pet to live there, and here she is!! I am so happy!!
As for Angelo, my new Topaz Terrier, she's a pet i've dreamed of for probably eight years. My favorite color is a dusky orange and my favorite month of the year is November. there's something special and serene about november. So the Topaz Terrier made perfect sense being part of my webkinz family, and since i took that break I had lots of eStore points saved up, and the birthstone pets went on sale, and it seemed like the perfect time!
Angelo is named after Michaelangelo. She's another Pride pet (lesbian pride
) and Michaelangelo was allegedly and apparently a "happy" historical figure. I feel like traditionally male names given to lesbian characters is a common TV trope so it felt very fitting. It also reminded me of the book Orlando by Virginia Woolf. i hope this topic is okay to post here! WT is a very loving community, i want to be true to myself and also abide by the guidelines.
Recently I also adopted Keeper! it was a spur of the moment thing (again, I had a lot of eStore points saved up from several months of inactivity; i don't normally puchase many pets in a row) from the Black Friday in May sale. When I saw the Hippogriff and the lighthouse theme, i knew they belonged together! the lighthouse room isn't finished, but here is my sweet boy Keeper. He was named after the Keeper of the Stage, a yellow puffle from Club Penguin and my favorite piece of CP lore. it's kinda goofy, but so adorable.
anyways, i hope this was at least a little interesting, ehehe. I am very happy and blessed to have adopted these new pets! I still have a couple more to adopt that I have been waiting on, so there may be more adoptions in the near future. Lots of love WT! (✿◠‿◠)

So happy for it! Thank you Pawprint! I actually just finished playing bingo at work, for the United Way. I didn't win.
