I like this. Although it looks like it is sitting on the floor. Phantom of the opera style.

Phantom of the Opera is my favorite stage play. I have seen it 4 times. I listen to the soundtrack a lot. I have many pets named after the characters. This is my Opera House Auction room, how perfect to now have the chandelier ready to rise!
I did not feel like hunting up the pets, but I have a Raoul for the wheel chair! The Ms Birdy music box was the closest thing I could find for the Monkey playing the cymbals
And now all I hear in my head is "will you still play, when all the rest of us are dead" Only a fan will get it

I'm so glad that you explained this since I've never seen Phantom of the Opera and had no clue what this was all about!

I'm so glad that you explained this since I've never seen Phantom of the Opera and had no clue what this was all about! The play begins in the future, all the items from the Opera House are being auctioned off. When they start the bidding on the chandelier, they light it up with electrical lights to show how it would have looked. There is a loud pop and the chandelier begins to rise, the stage goes dark and is transformed back in time. Gives me goose bumps just typing about it. It is an amazing play. You should look it up on youtube and watch it.

Newfie it really is awesome! I went to see it in a theater because I had a friend in college who was obsessed. When the chandelier starts rising up is when the main theme kicks in, and it really does feel like you're being transported back to when the opera house was in its heyday.
