Security Update: Password Update Required For All Accountsby webkinzworld To ensure the security of all our player accounts, we have put in place a requirement that all players update their account password before logging into Webkinz World. Players will only have to do this once. We have streamlined this process for you. When you log in with your current password, you will be given this prompt telling you to update your password:  You will be automatically taken to the Change Password:  Here you can simply enter your new password, and then again to confirm it and click Apply. You will then be taken right into Webkinz World to begin playing. We are asking that all players use at least 8 characters for their passwords. We encourage players to use both numbers and letters in their password for added security.  Remember, you will only have to do this once. The next time you log in, you will go right in. The security of our player accounts are of utmost importance to everyone at GANZ. We appreciate your patience with this inconvenience. Your Furry Friends in Webkinz World.
IF you use the Mobile App ONLYPlease contact webkinzsupport@ganz.com and put “Change Password” in the email’s title. They will help players that don’t have access to a computer (They are back logged right now with emails, MAKE SURE to title the email CHANGE PASSWORD for quicker response to this issue ONLY) |

The team is fixing this Thanks for the heads up. I already did all of mine too.... And they want you to use symbols and numbers and caps and small.......not good it doesn't work.

I also changed all my passwords a couple days ago. Now that we can use symbols, I may just use the same passwords I just changed to, but add a symbol to the end.

the first time around for the mandatory one they appear to have set some parameters. However mine weren't flagged for lacking numbers/spaces, and I changed them to the older passwords that were taken from the dump and they didn't flag that either (they were the same accounts with the same old passwords).
So I changed them all back to the ones that got dumped, then had a second go around changing them to what i had to change them from initially, which I'd already done because some of us are faster than a news article, ganz.
very pathetic execution of this, especially for those who'd already changed their passwords like myself who had to go through double-password-change twice in order to get around their very stupid system which didn't see that I'd changed it after the dump occurred.
It's stuff like this why I imagine the game isn't popular anymore.

We know they've taken down other games.

yes but you have to understand it's very niche to the point it's not even in people's minds anymore. Outdated stuff like this is why I reckon.
