I just checked all our snowflake prizes and realized we have never gotten the pile of snow- Maybe it is rare? has anyone else gotten it?

I think I heard that it is a glitch in the coding, so they forgot to add it. Or they mixed up the pile of snow with the pile of snowballs, I remember they said they would fix it after the event. |

I'm already using the snowballs to decorate and I don't want to lose them. I think there's two different snowballs, there is just the snowball that turns from 1 to 4 snowballs and then there's a pile of snowballs. But I haven't won the pile of snowballs yet so I don't know what that looks like. Because on the picture of the prizes for winter fest 2017 there isn't a picture of the pile of snowballs. |

I believe I heard someone say that the pile of snow was not supposed to be winter fest and that it'll be available at a later event.

Wistcottage, I think the Pile of Snowballs was for the purchasable cookie prizes. I've been getting it in both. The cookies and in WW. I've still been doing the Fest. I love the Fests! I open one window, where I'm going to catch flakes, then I open a 2nd window and I've been decorating on that account, so I don't mind.  |

Did this for four days -- the first three during the blizzard, and the 10th. Through four days: Fancy Frozen Candelabra Fancy Frozen Column Hockey Skates Pile of Snowballs x3 Red Team Snowsuit Skating Rink Edge Piece Skating Rink Floor Tile x2 Snow Covered Cedar x4 Snowball x2 Winter Wonderland Painting x2 Winterfest Floor Tile x2 Overall, I'd call it a success.  |

Really good idea newfie! I am going to try that- sitting around waiting for flakes is not fun- but decorating is great! After the blizzard, it was a bit disappointing and tedious, so I had to make something work! With two windows open, for catching, and a 3rd for decorating, it worked out great! Also, if you open the windows and set it up so that your first acct leaves the room and then your second acct leave a moment later (to arcade area, newspaper, or whatever) then the timing works great because if you see the first window snowflake, you know the second window will have one right after. Then you can spend 5 minutes decorating in your offset third window.  |

Seriously this Winterfest was really disappointing. I have never loved a set of prizes more. I was in love with the 2 minute float times, even with my busy schedule right now, I could sit for 8 minutes and catch a couple of flakes. Once the chance happened I have caught exactly zero flakes. There is just no way I can sit for 30 minutes. I set a timer and yet I still missed them.
Here's hoping we get a free Winterfest cookie or else this WF is a total bust.

What bothers me is they didn't even acknowledge the two minute timing was a mistake. They easily could have said they messed up and it was a glitch or typo. They just fixed it and acted like nothing happened.
