Take A Look At The Final Set Of Hotel Concept Drawings!
Here is the final set of concept drawings featuring items that will be included in the Hotel theme. This new room theme will be released in the W-Shop on July 21st.
Here’s a look at the front desk for the hotel lobby.
Next up is a look at the hotel window. This window looks like it would work in a variety of different rooms:
Next we are going to take a look at the concept drawings for the hotel wallpaper and flooring. The look of the wallpaper and flooring will change depending on the size of room you add it to.
The wallpaper and flooring is designed to look like a hotel lobby when you add it to a large, 10 X 10 room. This would also be nice to use in a hotel restaurant or elegant penthouse suite:
The wallpaper and flooring is designed to look like a hotel room when you add it to a medium, 7 X 7 room:
Finally, the wallpaper and flooring is designed to look like a hotel hallway when you add it to a small, 5 X 5 room:

personally, I'm not a fan of the wallpaper being different based on the different size room... if they're going through the trouble of making 3 different designs, why not let us use it in any room? what if I want a large room with the medium wallpaper- with this, that won't be possible..
I really love the walls and floors for the small room and would love to use it in some of my large rooms... but that's impossible with how they're designing it.

personally, I'm not a fan of the wallpaper being different based on the different size room... if they're going through the trouble of making 3 different designs, why not let us use it in any room? what if I want a large room with the medium wallpaper- with this, that won't be possible.. Since this is concept art, do you think they are interested in that kind of feedback? I like the different wallpaper idea, but I agree. I'd like to use the medium and smaller wallpaper with larger rooms. I may add a comment on Newz in case they can still change it before it comes out. Overall, I do like all the things they have come up with; these will be totally different rooms for me. And I'm bored with making the same ol rooms, lol. |

I got excited that there were 3 walls/floors combos. I'm not in love with this theme. It seems very much like it can only be used for a hotel theme with the logo planted on everything.

Ooh very excited for this theme! I love how the wallpaper is different for different sized rooms! That's pretty cool! It's a little annoying though, since what if you wanted to have a large room that's a bedroom, etc. Oh well though!

I, too, love the concept of the 3 different wall and floor combos. I wish they hadn't limited its use, however. I think it would've been so much better to allow us to use them as we'd like. Creative freedom and all that.

This was not my first choice of a theme, and I am disliking the lack of versatility in this set of items (apart from the window, that is a wonderful window).
But, I think that if one is designing a hotel, this is a very helpful wallpaper and flooring combination to guide the rooms. It is a really neat idea, I am proud that they are branching out a little. (-:
