Hey there arcade enthusiasts! The Checkers Arcade Challenge arrives in Webkinz Classic on Monday, December 7th, and players who complete the Challenge by Sunday, December 13th, will win some cool prizes!

But don’t leave this challenge until the last minute… some tasks will take some time to complete.

Here’s how to play: Starting on Monday, December 7th, look for the Checkers Arcade Challenge icon in your pet’s room. It will be displayed along the left side of the room (web and desktop app only):

Click on the icon to review your tasks. There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight, December 13th (EST) to earn all of the prizes:

Win 6 games of Checkers at the Tournament Arena

Spin the Wheel of WOW 3 times

Buy a Tiara from the KinzStyle Outlet

Complete all the tasks before time runs out and you’ll win Game Board Wall Clock, along with a NEW Crown Me Throne!

I love the throne too! Definitely gonna have to get it. My suggestion is to try to keep the pieces at the bottom on their squares as long as possible. Then your opponent is blocked from getting a king and you can jump over them if they get near you. Or just challenge me if you see me online at the same time and I can give you some wins :rofl:

I never move my bottom row pieces, and if you play against bot characters (Like Arte or PJ) its not that much of a challenge!

Thanks bluemorpho! That's a great idea about the placement of the pieces. Hopefully we're on at the same time when the challenge starts!

I have to see. Checkers is not my favorite game...still have the old WW so could play myself but I really don't like checkers. My grandmother always wanted to play checkers so from the time I semi understood the game we played. She always beat me, even as I got older, and older. I was telling this to my older brothers and sister one Christmas recently and they all started laughing. They said Grandma cheated at checkers. I gasped! Not Grandma! This woman taught in a one room schoolhouse, could do complicated calculus in her head quickly, and and and....I still don't like the game.
