Newfie cleared my cache etc but the only thing that seems to work is rebooting everything. It seems certain accounts trigger it and then nothing works right. I need to leave those accounts til the end-lol

Every update something different happens...It could be I'm still using the flash program. Holding out on moving over because I like to have more than one screen up a lot of times. I know eventually I won't have a choice. I forget what month/year that is. Do you remember?

It's the end of this year but certain obscure browsers may take longer or not remove it at all.
Webkinz itself including the desktop app uses flash. It's not the fact you're using flash, because that'd be the entire game.
Also nowadays, clearing the cache does less when the game is constantly refreshing for ads and status updates on your literally anything. Any bug nowadays has to do with them, not due to the cache because the game is constantly automatically refreshing for you, whatever's being stored is being updated every minute or few minutes.
it's just that a lot of areas on the site are in desperate need of updates because of bugs and outdated functionality. The entire clubhouse being behind house rooms in every way (pets still use old animations, dispensers are still clickable, no ability to interrupt where your pet is going) would lead to tons of problems which is also what leads to players being inside of hosts for the event rooms or anything that dispenses anything (tiles, food, furniture, if you receive it it's a dispenser).
all the cache does is store images, videos on webpages so you can view them easier later. Clearing the cache does virtually nothing for webkinz nowadays because it's a game that constantly autosaves at your every move.
Like someone wasn't paying attention when they set the flags for the tulips and that's why one of them isn't sendable. It has nothing to do with anybody and this clumsiness is present all over the site if you know where to look.

I'm still using the browser version too and will continue to until I can't any longer. I always play with two or more screens up, I can't imagine what it'll be like when I can't. Even simple things like looking at the Community codes list on WT and entering them with my WW screen a bit to the right, so I can read and enter without going back and forth. I'm really going to miss that. Like Barko said, its supposed to be the end of the year. |

I tried the desktop app a few months ago because the browser was treating me poorly. But the desktop app wasn't any better, so I don't use it anymore. I didn't even download it on my new laptop. I wish they would move away from Flash instead of making a desktop app that uses it. That seems like a waste of time/resources.

For right now it's probably more feasible given the situation where they're constantly selling items and pets. These are still made using the current system of flash and there's 23k items and 1000 pets. It's an exorbitant task.
I just want them to make a windowed version, at least enough so that you can see the taskbar on windows. Why are we using fullscreen in the year 2020, many pc apps moved on from solely fullscreen because people have options in this day and age.
It already does this in browsers for people with differently sized screens so that isn't an excuse.
It's not flash itself that's the problem really imo, it's how they use it.
